PDAC operates a strict confidentiality policy which will be fully explained on assessment by your key-worker. The information you disclose will be respected and any sharing of this information will be strictly on a ‘need to know’ basis and with your permission (e.g. your GP).

However, confidentiality could be broken in exceptional circumstances if:

The information you give us is recorded in your dedicated file and is kept under lock and key. It is also stored on our database for statistical reasons, but this is not accessible to any other agency. You have the right to see your records and should you wish to do so, please liaise with your worker.

PDAC’s Confidentiality Policy is in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
All PDAC staff are required to adhere rigidly to our Confidentiality Policy.
